There may be an obvious answer to this, but I'm wondering if when using an RIR or RPE system, we judge reps in reserve based on how close we are to technical failure rather than absolute failure (bad form on last rep or so). I'd imagine we enumerate RPE with technical failure because otherwise we're reinforcing bad form and shifting tension from the target muscle(s) when calculating for absolute failure. This could explain partially why I've been plateaued for a while on the bench press and squat; because I've been using absolute failure as a benchmark

Should you train on Monday anyway and just do the best you can, or should you delay your training session until Tuesday, so that you can sleep and recover on Monday night? How do I develop a wide shoulder girdle as you have done, did you do heavy pullovers or deep breath squats to improve your ribcage/shoulder girdle or will my clavicles grow since I am still a teen??
