Welcome, welcome! Today I have a day in the life of a large homeschool family birthday!! We start every New Year off with what we call "International Liam Day" and celebrate Liam's birthday. He is such a fun, sweet, and wildly creative boy. He blesses us daily! What would we do without our Liam?!?!

We do large family birthday's in different ways. Some years we buy theme park passes and celebrate every birthday at the theme park. Other years every kid picks a family outing plus we do a party at home. Some years we have big parties with friends. For 2019 momma is tired (ha!) and we have an entire year where each child gets to pick a restaurant for their birthday (which they're very excited about), we'll do their gift opening there, with cake/ice cream later back at home. I don't know, that was supposed to be a simple year, but already sounds complicated, lol!!!

Warning! There seems to be lots of CHOCOLATE in this large family meals of the week vlog, ha! Chocolate milk, hot chocolate, varies kid's with chocolate mustaches, so get ready for that. In today's large family meal plan video you see lots of meal prepping, freezer meals for the Instant Pot in action, lots of ways to reuse those leftovers, and all that goes into feeding a large family.

We take homemade pumpkin pies to a Friendsgiving homeschool event, make homemade waffles for the freezer, pick up take out pizza one evening, and even eat a ton of fresh fruits and vegetables.

I hope you enjoy this large family meals of the week video because it lets you see large family meal planning in action. Yes, I have a meal plan, and I meal plan for the month! But real meal planning allows movement for real life and situations that pop up despite what the perfect plan looked like written out on paper.

On this freezer cooking day I made the following Gluten-Free freezer meals:

* 3 dozen Parm Turkey Burgers, 
* 4 bags of Chicken Teriyaki, 
* Big batch of Vegetable Beef Soup, 
* 8 – 9×13 pans of Burrito Pie, 
* 2 bags of Rosemary Garlic Chicken,
* TEN pans of Chicken Fried Rice (I was using up some smaller freezer meal pans. Otherwise this would make 5-7 9x13 pans),
*4 pans of Shepherd's Pie,
*4 bags of Chicken Parmesan,
*5 loaves of BBQ Meatloaf,
*and 3 bags of Chicken Fajitas.

It has been a dream of mine to take our older kids into New York City during the Christmas season to experience the sights and sounds of city holidays. In this part one Christmas in New York City Travel Vlog I share our road trip snacks, driving my family into New York City and finding parking, plus I also share a tour of our cheap for the season hotel find.

For day two in NYC we walked over ten miles! We also road the subway, enjoyed Times Square, St Patrick’s Cathedral, Sax 5th Ave, Rockefeller Center, Central park, and even ate at a fantastic Ethiopian restaurant!
